Uniform
  • Green blazer with badge (colour of year)
  • White school shirt (can be short sleeve or full-length sleeve) with school tie or white school blouse with short sleeve or three-quarter sleeve (no tie)
  • Black formal trousers, recommended trousers can be found on our school website under uniform
N.B. other trousers may be worn but no leggings, jeans or tight fitting/stretchy styles, no decoration e.g. metal zips
  • Tartan knee length school skirt, worn with plain black or natural tights or white or black ankle socks
  • Plain black leather sensible shoes, no boots
Optional:
  • Years 7-9 green jumper or tank top or cardigan with embroidered school name
  • Years 10-11 black jumper or tank top or cardigan with embroidered school name
Additional uniform guidelines 
  • Outdoor coats must not be worn in the school building. No denim or leather coats may be worn to school
  • All pupils must have a bag for school
  • Top buttons of shirts must be fastened to the neck and ties worn up to the collar
  • Shirts must be tucked into skirts or trousers
  • Black formal shoes – no boots, plimsoles or trainers
  • Belts, if worn, must be narrow and plain black
  • No visible tattoos
  • A wristwatch. Smartwatches are NOT allowed
  • No jewellery is allowed (Year 7-11)
  • No fake tan or make-up
  • No fake nails, gel nails, nail varnish or false eyelashes of any kind. Nails should be kept to a reasonable length for health and safety
  • Hairstyles and colours must be deemed socially acceptable by the school
  • No extreme haircuts including lines or extreme differences in length. No patterns or lines should be visible in hair styles
  • No lines should be cut into eyebrows
PE Kit
  • St Roberts Unisex T-Shirt
  • Unisex Black Shorts or Black sports leggings
  • Short white socks
  • Long black sports socks
Optional:
  • St Roberts PE Black Hoodie or Plain Black Hoodie (no branding)
  • Black Tracksuit Bottoms In winter months

Equipment

We expect every student to carry a sensible and suitable bag containing the items listed below to every lesson. At first, you could help with packing your child’s school bag with the relevant books and equipment for the next day.

Students are expected to bring the following:
• A bag (large enough to hold books and equipment).
• Student planner (Students will receive this when they start school). They
must carry this at all times.
• Pencil case.
• 2 black pens
• 2 green pens.
• 1 whiteboard pen.
• Ruler.
• Rubber.
• Scientific calculator.
• Compass. KS4 students only.
• Protractor. KS4 Students only.

It is important that you keep everything clean and free of graffiti, especially your
planner.

Planners must be signed weekly by a Parent or carer. Students MUST have a planner
at all times – replacement planners will be charged to parents at a cost of £5.
